If you are a current student at ROBINSON, please make sure you register for a choral ensemble during registration:
926017 - Men's Chorus (no vocal evaluation required)
Open to all male singers in HS. There is no audition required. All
you need to bring is a positive attitude and a willingness to improve.
926016 - Treble Ensemble (no vocal evaluation required)
Open to all female singers in HS. There is no audition required. All you need to bring is a positive attitude and a willingness to improve.
928516 - Women's Camerata (vocal evaluation required)
Females in grades 10-12 are eligible for this ensemble after completion of a vocal evaluation.
928916 - Select Women's Ensemble (vocal evaluation required)
Females in grades 10-12 are eligible for this ensemble after completion of a vocal evaluation.
928915 - Robinson Singers (vocal evaluation required)
Males & Females are eligible for this ensemble after completion of a vocal evaluation. If you are interested in being considered for an ensemble requiring a vocal evaluation, please see the information below:
A vocal evaluation consists of a prepared piece, Blow. Blow Thou Winter Wind that can be prepared and recorded on a CD and given to Mr. Horanski by April 1st. Current choral students should make this recording using CHARMS. You may sing up to two vocal ranges on your recording. Recording this piece gives you the opportunity to submit your best work without the pressure of an "audition." You can use a program like Audacity ALSO - (Click here to download Mp3 add-on for AUDACITY) or Garage Band to make your recording. I am available during RAISE or by appointment to teach you the song.

This is done in person and is designed to measure your musicianship ability. After completion, you will be placed in an ensemble based on your current skill level.
Students will be notified if a call-back audition is necessary.
